My FIL has to sadly give up his cat as he is just too old to look after her now frown.

We’re trying to take care of it for him from a distance but its proving quite difficult and we dont just want to put her in a rescue centre so wandered if there might be anyone on here that might take her in?

She’s only 4 years old, house trained, really cute and has a lovely demeanour..

If anyone is able to take her or knows someone who might i’m sure you’d save her and him a lot of heartache, he lives in dawlish but we can obviously bring her to you wherever you might be in the SW.

Cheers, Nik.

Hi Si, she has a cat flap so she can go out when she likes but stays in mostly (especially as it’s winter) so would say she’s flexible either way really, I’ll post up some images so you could share with your friend maybe..

Evening - bay news on the cat? Whilst waiting for memory card perhaps you could tel me the following -

Has it been neutered?
What is her name?
Is she chipped?
Vaccines wise is she up to date?

Regards

Si
Hi Si, sorry for delay, still waiting for card as its coming to france, im hoping hes done it right, very difficult dealing with age, i might receive an empty envelope or an old toothbrush!

‘Bella’ was rescued from his local sanctuary originally so definitely chipped & neutered, vaccines will be done by us before she has to leave but its best we do that when we go down.

I’ll see if i can find some similar pics of her for the interim, she’s very pretty, gentle and quite petite.

If she isn’t suitable for SiT, we have been looking for a cat for a while and she seems to tick all the boxes. My wife went all funny when she saw the picture!
Good to hear, i’ll let you know through pm how me and si get on but its great to know someone else is kind enough to step in and save her from another sanctuary stay, once youve saved them once you sort of take on the responsibility to make sure theyre ok so really want the sanctuary to be an absolute last resort! btw, that is a library pic smile but its very very to her.
