Anyone fancy a spring/summer BBQ? There's a cracking pub on the banks of a canal in Exeter called the Double Locks, the beauty of this place they have a massive BBQ area, camping on site and loads of parking. They are a mean specialist in real ales of all varieties including stuff you can stand a spoon up in?

Any takers?

Yep, I'm off to LeMans as well as other things, perhaps a good night would be Sunday 30th May? A bank holiday weekend so no work the following day, a Sunday night so chance for a blast and not as busy as a Saturday night.

A bit of a LeMans warm up!

I'll check with the pub.

Just spoken to the 'Double Locks' and it's on if we want it!

There is no accomodation other than camping I'm afraid, but what a quality place!!

NO charge for camping but if people would like to chip in a fiver or so each for some tucker I'll get the food organised.

Any takers!!

I dear say there will be a few people who won't be up for camping due to commitments and the like so if there was a run out earlier then flash up the barbie about 3pm that should keep everyone happy!

Have we got a date for this yet Corin?

Due to mini me commitment I'll not be camping, but will more than likely be there for the fun.

We thought Sunday the 30th of May (Bank Holiday weekend!) Richard.

So are we going to go for this shindig then? Wyatt the R.O. for Devon And Cornwall TVRCC phoned me up and asked if the club could go along but no numbers yet?

Who's up for it?

Yep, the Sunday evening of the Bank Holiday weekend, just an informal few beers with the option of camping over. Cracking place, no other cost other than beer and food.

Just need to see if worth doing?

Good stuff, if there is still enough interest I will keep at it then, doesn't look like any of the old school club are coming?

Follow this link.....

This will tell you everything you need to know, it is just off Topsham Rd if you look at the map section, the weather looks like it could be greay tomorrow and brighttening up on Sunday which is good, I'll be there from about 5 o-clock, maybe earlier!

Good stuff, here's a link for the BBC Met Office weather page for Exeter, it is constantly updated if you want to keep an eye on the forecast.
