Please forgive me for being dim, so we would meet at the seven stars at 8, go for a drive about then return to the seven stars for 9:15 then onto alton departure lounge for food?

I would be in a mk2 mx5
Yeah that is how it works. Meet at 8.00 for the run out and then back to pick up those who just want breakfast.

The French stbox has a misfire at the moment, just getting it sorted. Now decided to put it back on the road and sell the trailer. Once the garage has sorted misfire and done MOT it will be ready to get out there.

Are you going too limit numbers Aly, or split the group up?
I'm not sure how many are doing the run, will make that call on the morning. Decide on the route and stop off points for everyone to catch up.

To anyone who has done this run before would I be better sticking with my standard mk2 mx5 or bring my Megane r26?. I don't know what sort of roads are intended or what pace you lot go at.
The MX5 will be fine. The road conditions are not ideal for spirited driving at this time of year. We will keep a good pace, but safe. They are A&B roads that are mainly in good condition.

Would love to join if numbers allow. Newish to the area so keen to meet some local petrol heads. Either a Cayman or bmw 130i depending on weather / my mood.
That's fine, I have reserved seating for 18, but due to the time of year there should be extra seating available. We just need to make sure we get there for 10.00 when they open for extra seating to be available.

We will still have a little drive out, it's only rain. We have been really lucky with the weather each month, guess we will get the odd one. This January I will let other colour cars in, rather than just Red.biggrin

Thanks everyone today. Great turnout and almost kept everyone together on the run. See you all next month, hopefully the weather will be a tad better.
