Calling Mercedes AMG V8 Enthusiasts in Hampshire

Myself and a mate are looking to get together a group of AMG V8 owners for pub meets, Sunday brunch trips, tunnel runs and possible trips further afield in the UK and the continent. I own an SL63 and my friend David has a beautiful SL55. If you are in Hampshire or neighbouring counties and fancy some Days of Thunder trips.

We go along to the MB World gathering frequently, it's mostly members from the MB Club UK forum.
There is one on Sunday 24th February, mostly AMG owners but there other marques at the gatherings too.

Hi all, sorry for the delay in responding, work and life getting in the way. We are still planning to get a gathering together in the coming weeks, probably a sunny Sunday morning (for those of us with garage queens like me). I'll give as much notice as I can if the weather forecast looks promising for the weekend. Looking forward to some AMG Thunder. Hello all AMG owners in Hampshire, it looks like this Sunday is going to be quite nice for a bit of AMG appreciation. I'd like to propose a meet at the West Meon pub at the crossroads of the A32 and A272. https://www.westmeonpub.co.uk/ for 9am, then we can head along a (hopefully empty) A272 to Midhurst or Petworth for breakfast.

Please let me know if you are interested in joining us, confirm your car and whether you can offer a seat to a non-AMG owning enthusiast.

Hi Arthur, noted that 'other car events are available' and I have been to some MB events myself but whilst everyone brings their polished pride and joy, I prefer these not to be C220 CDI's and the like. So the focus is on the most interesting part of the AMG community, specifically V8's where possible, but other V6 and V12 cars welcome. Hope to see some of you tomorrow morning at the West Meon Hut.
