Birthday rumble invitation

OK pop pickers. I have decided to put the feelers out about an excuse for an afternoon or evening session of rumblin and/or drinkin'. 
- Not to be mixed though of course! Yes, it's my birthday on Monday 24th,
so I was thinking of going for a celebration drive & soft drink OR be a car tart (if one of you top chaps and lasses will offer their spare seat) and get wazzed at one of the following times: Saturday 22nd from 2:30pm
Sunday 23rd from 2:30pm
Sunday 23rd from 6pm
Tuesday 25th from 7:30pm
Please state your preference (aka vote) if, indeed, you wish to partake in this debauchery. That way I can find out which is the most preferred time. Voting closes Friday 1pm.
The venue is yet to be arranged, but the idea is a pub in North Cheshire, so obviously The Romper is a suggestion and an easy option. As is the Stamford Arms (TVRCC region meeting joint). There is one in Marthall just North of Knutsford which is quite good and links on to a good hooning route I know. I shall have a look and maybe some organisation wouldn't go amiss, Richard
Of course, I'll understand if you think I'm just a sad loser who looks like a rock'n'roll star
and don't want to have anything to do with me 
And is willing to miss out on the great chance of me buying drinks, you lot extracting the michael and me making a fool of myself

Believe you me, I would not blow chunks in anyobody's car (except Rover 200's ) and if it ever came to it I'd either tell you way in advance or I'd 
over the side on a right hand bend to get the maximum tangential projectile effect 
for maximum style points and to avoid loss of grip for the rest of the convoy. Folks, I know I don't look a day older than 23
and definitely don't act my real age but I am actually in my 30's. Yeah, difficult to believe I know

Maybe this should become an excuse to incorporate an impromptu Romper meet, (which of course is more important than my birthday) as well as sticking to the 'normal' schedule of course!

Right, I had pretty much decided more than a day ago that Tuesday looked the best but kept it open to see if I had any more mates.......
....evidently not!
So, Tuesday 25th from 7:30pm it is.
We will meet at The Romper by this time and then travel on for a hoon around Cheshire (I have a route) that will be led by me (either in my car or in Andy's Griff). Roughly it will be through tunnels to Wilmslow, head for Alderley Edge, turning right down A535 to Chelford, past Jodrell Bank to Holmes Chapel where we will turn right onto the A50 to Knutsford. From Knutsford we will turn right onto the A537 heading back towards Chelford. This will take us to the pub in Marthall (Chef & Brewer) at the start of a 30 zone.
I will probably go down there and find out what the name of the pub is, coz I can't remember.

Yes. Have emailed the two of them tonight. As for the lift in the Griff, I am sorely tempted and thank you, but I am feeling the urge to drive a TVR on my birthday for the very first time.

I saw you, not once, not twice, but three times rumblin through Dyesbury (Didsbury) villaaarrrge as I sat outside Felicini's opposite The Crown slurping pasta. You also had a lady in the passenger seat. Saw your grin, saw your shades and saw how damn clean your S was.

Here is a map that covers the area where we will be during the evening...
Go to multimap.com and type Alderley Edge in the Find box. Zoom out one scale to 200,000. This covers as far north as the M56/M60 and as far south as just north of Holmes Chapel.
For those who can make it, we will be meeting at The Romper pub (and leaving there at 7:30pm) which is situated off the A538 between junction 6 of the M56 and the tunnels that run under the Manchester Airport runways.
To get there from the north (Lois) get onto the M60 and come anticlockwise to go round to the west (Trafford centre etc) of Manchester. Exit the M60 at junction 4 to get onto the M56 at junction 1. Exit the M56 at junction 6 (signposted for the Freight Terminal). There is a long sweeping slip road that bears left and eventually meets traffic lights. Position yourself in either the middle or outside lane.
From these lights turn right onto the A538 heading south, where you are immediately faced with another set of lights. Go straight on from these lights for about 200yds. You will see signs for The Romper pub and the Aviation viewing park on your left. Turn left here and travel to the end of the road. Turn left again and you will eventually see the car park for the pub.
At 7:30pm we will leave the pub and head south down the A538, through the tunnels, to Wilmslow. In the centre of Wilmslow you reach a junction (facing the old Rex cinema) where you either have to bear left or turn right. Get in the right lane to turn right and head south to Alderley Edge on the B5085 (yellow road on map). After half a mile you will reach a roundabout where we will go straight on (do not travel round the roundabout) south down the little white road that links to the A34.
At the roundabout, go straight on (ie second exit). You will travel past two pubs one is called The Merlin. Continue down this road until you see a circular car showroom on your left and signs to the A535 on your right which are just before a hump backed bridge (train station here). If you go over this and into the village, you have gone too far.
Turn right onto the A535 and follow this road for about 5 miles until you reach a roundabout with a Shell station on your right. You have two options...
1)Take the 4th exit and travel up the A537 for about 2 miles where you will find The Egerton Arms on your right, in Marthall. This is our destination pub for the evening.
2)Take the second exit to continue south on the A535 all the way to Holmes Chapel (taking in the sites of the largest satellite dish in Europe aka Jodrell Bank). At Holmes Chapel there is a double roundabout junction. Follow signs for the A50 north towards Knutsford by turning right at the first one and straight on at the second.
Continue on this road until you reach a major set of traffic lights where you will have to get in the far right hand (filter) lane to turn right onto the A537. Continue along the A537 for about 4 miles until you see the start of a 30mph zone where The Egerton Arms can be found on the left.
And there you have it. Phew!
