A week in Cockermouth...

I've got a week off with my girlfriend in the middle of September and we are off to Cockermouth for five days. Purely because it's a funny name!

We need some ideas of things to do whilst there. Ideally fairly cheap as it's a bit of a budget trip due to saving for a house.

I will of course make the most of being around the Lake District and some of the roads! But I think my girlfriend would get bored of me just driving...

Got here! Lovely place so far . Downaide no real parking for the Air B&B, but can park in a shops car park after 5.30 so not a real problem.
