Outdoor venue space in Yorkshire
Discussion
Hi all,
My fiance and I are looking at getting married in 2019 and are after a countryside venue. We're looking at halls/ barns with grounds but we like the idea of a field where we can get a marquee and get married there.
Having searching through Google we've found some but hoping people of PH can suggest any places that might not be well known or have had experience of having a venue there in the past.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are looking at the whole of Yorkshire as we have family and friends in both leeds and Sheffield so Yorkshire seemed a fitting place to get married.

Have a look through the national trust site, as they do seem to be a bit cheaper for the venue, and you get a wedding planner and a decent amount of staff included in the basic cost.
Me and the other half are getting married at East Riddlesden Hall next year, and have the barn for the wedding/food/evening do, and the manor/lake for a backdrop.
Downside is, more expensive catering, and as we've gone for a Saturday wedding, the site (except the barn) is still open to the public until 4:30 - 5pm
Yeh we've viewed this place and it's currently sat second on our choice of venues. I didn't like the fact it was open to the public so we thought about going for a Friday wedding as it's closed then just means people have to take a day off work. Lovely venue otherwise.
