First post on here but been keeping reading for over 2 years and 2 golf r leases.
I had my house broken into on Monday night looking for the Keys as nothing else stolen.

They said they would keep a eye out for it.its got no insurance or mot so the occupants obviously won't be the registered keeper.

Bit more info. A light coloured Ford Kuga was seen on the night of the break in entering and departing at the times that tie in. So if anyone sees one prowling keep a eye on them.

The scrotes came for another bash at getting the R by smashing their way into my house while I was abroad on holiday. Thankfully the have left some blood for the cops.😁.

Get rid.

Its a shame when you can't have stuff for fear of criminals nicking it but these are just so attractive to thieves it's beyond a joke. These and S3s just get rid.
I’ll run this to the end of the lease then get a Dacia.

Trouble is your car is known to be there and will be constant target. I would seriously considering speaking to the lease company and seeing if you can transfer to another car or get out completely,

Never thought of that. I’ll speak with Vwfs and see if they want to do me a swap. Cheers

3 masked scrotes breaking into my house to get the keys to the golf R in the early hours of Saturday morning.
I think they were in a Volvo XC60. CID reckons one was stolen from Sandal area of Wakefield Friday night. Anyone know anything??

That's 3 times in 12 months.
Enough is enough.

jesus!

yeah i think as you say enough is enough, if the car is attracting that much attention it has to go!
😂😂.
I've just emailed VWFS for a termination figure.
Great car but it's been a painful experience.😁

fk that! 3 bloody attempts!!! How far do they get? Do they get in the house?
They didn't get in this time. Snapped the handle and lock but I have fitted TS007 locks so they couldn't get in that way.
When I was burgled Christmas day the just smashed conservatory and kitchen window to get in..

Paid VW to come and collect the car. Absolutely no discount.

Just get something else that's less nickabke and vastly better to drive. Win win.
I think the “R” drives pretty good.

Poverty spec Dacia Duster for me from now on. 😊

I feel incredible sad and gutted for you. It’s a terrible day when you can’t enjoy something you work hard for but it’s just not worth it.
Cheers,it is sad,I previously thought they won’t beat me but I no longer enjoy the car.
It would have been cheaper for me if they had stolen it. 😂
