Clayton West/Scissett area?

Any locals on here from around Clayton West?

Looking at houses there right now but we don't know the area that well. I have never heard of anything bad but just be nice to hear what locals think of it?

Is it considered to be a nice place or rough etc?

Been living up here for 20+ years now and recently moved house. We twice looked at a house in Scissett as we like the area. Just far enough away from the major towns/cities but at the same time an easy commute and still has the village feel to it.. We just could not make the house work for us, no other reason.
