back due to popular demand.....

Had a year off as was working out of the country. But should be able to fit one in over the summer. My M4 is gone and my Tesla isn't here yet - albeit not the best car for a tunnel run ....even if it will do 60 quicker than anything else laugh

Important points: d1ckheads need not apply. This is not a race or a chance to show your drift skills. We meet, chat, have a drive through Leeds, then get breakfast and chat some more over coffee. Need to change the breakfast venue as car park was tiny last time.

Route stays with me until the last minute, and details of the event go nowhere near social media. Afterwards, you can tweet, instagram all you like - but this has to be an event I can control attendance for obvious reasons.

Dates
These work best for me.
July 15th
July 22nd

Do any of these dates work for you guys and girls???

Details will be sent later today when I'm back from clients. Will PM you the link to the instructions and the password.

Warning - it will be an early start! thinking 07:00 for 07:15 start. 3 reasons why:
  • firstly roads are quieter and we don't want unnecessary attention
  • means you can get back to your families quicker - we love looking at cars but its a hard sell to the wife
  • I now need to fly out to Dubai later that morning
cheers

OK everyone now has an email waiting for them. If I have missed anyone just give me a shout.

Take a look at the route and get familiar. It's pretty straightforward, only tricky bit is between tunnels 5 and 6 so have a look on google maps so you can concentrate on the cars around you rather than navigating.
Depending on numbers it's useful to have a couple of lead cars to aid in navigation, then it's a simple case of follow my leader, so for any local boys that will be a great help. I'll have printouts on the day.

Looking forward to meeting you all. Hopefully, we can sort out a few more events too :-)

Looking forward to it myself it should be a good run! I'm happy to do some leading if we get broken up too as i know the route fairly well.
that would be great ....New York road to The Calls is the tricky bit, easy to get lost in the one way system

Great turn out and lots of interesting metal. As always with these events it’s the people that really make them, so thank you all for the early start.
