We have had monthly get togethers in the past few years on a Wednesday night.

No one night will ever suit everyone. Some nights may be generally unsuitable, eg Saturday as some of you may have a normal social life thing!

Wednesday has been thought to be unsuitable as life changing football (the game with the round ball) games are on.

Looking for ideas of Days? Times? Places?

We may need to have a winter and summer venue/day etc??

Whilst my idea of running things is to be dictatorial, ( Mussollini didn't get everything wrong) feedback to improve our enjoyment of cars and car related things is always welcome.

Just a reminder: THESE MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO EVERYONE, NO MATTER WHAT CAR YOU HAVE OR EVEN IF YOU DON'T YET HAVE ONE! IF YOU ARE A PETROLHEAD, YOUR WELCOME!

I spent quite a bit of time reasearching the possibility of opening an ACE type cafe and went to the one on London to get some info

Problem is where? Was chatting to Carlo McCridnle on Sunday about that issue. Problem is the business needs to survive without car clubs most of the time and have passing trade.

If was west then wouldn't attract people from East or Aberdeen etc

The ACE in london is just of the North circualar. Hadn't reaslied i had driven by it hundreds of times going to my sisters house in Ealing.

Wonder if people have views as is something I am keen to do!

The pub at the Raith is a good idea. Car park can get very busy though. May be worth a try?

Paul.

Hi
I too need to come along and say hi smile

I used to meet at the sherbrooke with the tvr car club and we found parking was limited, They also hold lots of venue's, wedding ect even through out the week. A lovely place non the less but not ideal for large numbers with cars as we found out.

Cheers Scotty
thanks for the knowledge input.

I was thinking of the place at the Raith for an evening meeting, but Duck bay for a summer evening sounds a great idea

Further input appreciated

PS whats the issue with 406 coupes? Beautiful car!

Well then.

thursday seems to be the preferred night. I think we can agree on that?

Cant keep everyone happy so may as well keep me happy!

Location??????

jury still out and some good ideas still coming in. Andrew and I went to about a dozen places before picking the Dakota. We couldn't visit everywhere.

Keep them coming!

AND TURN UP.

Remember, Paul Garlick and the rest of the pistonheads head office do exactly as we ask up here, due to fear! If you don't turn up, do you really want to find your cars cylinder head in your bed in the morning?

If we keep the 3rd week then there is a degree of continuity for that week. I have no strong views, it was picked at random by Andrew and I to suit notice we were giving folk.

Thursday seems to be the preferred day. So lets just make it thursday. Agreed? All those who disagree, hit Andrew

Venue? Seems like the Most popular should be given a chance? We can all talk posh for a couple of hours to blend in!

What week? 3rd? 2nd?

Lets just tae a straw pole on this and i ( for any free coffee and cake) will come to an executive decision. Which if get wrong, you get to hit.... your getting this arent you?

Not any longer. The hound of the Baskervilles has been returned to Jen's family, ( the Baskervilles obviously) so he is not being savaged growled at and bitten every hour and the carpets are now safe! Jen is too much of a lady to handbag anyone ( safe post )

So where and when guys????????
