Gents,

I know there's a few very good detailers in the area and at the other end of the scale, I have a basic kit myself but I'm looking for middle ground... eg, a enthusiastic individual who'll give the car a once over because a) I can't be bothered and b) it's probably too old / marked to warrant paying a few hundred pounds for a professional detail.

I know there was a chap from Edinburgh who used to do it on the side (well, you know what I mean) but have searched the usual places and no such joy tracing hime (no surprise given I don't know his name) but anybody have any enthusiastic contacts who are clued up, do a decent job and would take on such a task?

Can provide a big garage, tea, Jaffa Cakes and cold hard cash!

Thanks sir.

I was hoping I could get somebody to come to me... reason being once it lands, it's getting the bumper painted and the wheels done so the thinking was to stick it on stands, wheels off and away, ditto the bumper so if I could get somebody to come along and attend to the paintwork at the same time then it'd be very helpful. As said I do have the kit here and I've done a couple of cars before but this is black and rather large... too much for me to take on, he says whilst trying not to sound like the lead role in a 'special interest' movie.
