I am getting bombarded by targeted advertising for this:

https://clandrivers.club/

Does anyone know anything more about it? Is it legit?

Thought it was going to be Clan Crusader OC sort of a thing.
laugh No not quite.

£60 a pop to join and you get a keyring and a sticker. Promising organised events and drives. If there turns out to be a good bunch of events I'd be keen, but nothing listed on the website.

Never heard of them either.

Mark Ryan has always organised good events via Driving Scotland outwith the traditional single-marque clubs - https://drivingscotland.com/
Thanks will have a look.

The issue I have is that most clubs are snooty and only interested in exotica. My humble Golf R Estate doesn't cut it, albeit it has 400 bhp. Or they are arranged around a weekend of £400 a night hotels, which is fine if you are driving your AMR Aston up from Surrey. Not if you live in Scotland and want to go out for a day.

I have enjoyed the couple of PH runs there was a few years ago and the Tartan Tarmac breakfast meets. But have not managed to find a regular group/club.

Might give this one a go.

nothing to do with them but did notice them on Instagram as 'club.clan'
a few posts showing members cars so will give you an idea of the sort of cars attending their events
Thanks for that. Looks like a good mix of hot hatches, M cars, AMGs and a few Porsches. The right kind of mix in my mind for good Scottish drives. Nothing too exotic to be precious about dissolving in the rain and salt. Enough genuine-looking Instagram accounts that I am going to give it a gamble and sign up. I will report back to what happens.

Well, subs paid, very quick email received from the organiser Andy, added to private FB group, which is active enough on the introductions front, folks posting pictures of their cars etc. Around 10 dates on the agenda for the summer listed in the calendar with a mixture of Sunday drives and a couple of evening fish and chips type runs. In summary, all looks legit, the proof will be in the quality of the organisation, events and If it continues beyond the initial 10 listed events. So far so good.

Focused around the majority of the membership being central belt. But they are quite far ranging with destinations from Dumfriesshire, Galloway, Oban, Glencoe, Aviemore & Deeside. Starts in Stirling, Perth as well as central belt. One of them was an Aviemore start too.

Plus if you are further North you can join up with the Highlands Driving Club and really get out and up north for some real fun!
