Going on the Sunday ( part of Fathers Day present ), never been before . Any heads up on best time to arrive, parking etc . , gates open at 10am but dont want to be too early if not needed and nothing going on . Any advice appreciated

Gates open at 10am and the event closes at 5pm

Unfortunately for safety reasons, because the event includes live motorsport, dogs are not allowed on site, with the exception of guide dogs and assistant dogs.

Thank you for that . Main concern is when things start so we can work out when to set off / arrive for the event as travelling from Glasgow and my old bones dont want to be sitting around needlessly

We all had a great day on the Sunday , thoroughly enjoyed it .Did a fair bit of walking though the way the cars and venues were scattered over such a large area . As for the queues at the toilets , food stances , food prices / quality , least said the better ..We left after Sir Jackie done his sprints and got out and away very easily and virtually trouble free back to Glasgow . But a friend who left a litle later was caught up inthe traffic jams .
