Kiltie! Are you up for a test session for the Busa before Fintray or are you sorted? Put my new chariot through its paces at secret location this morning - still a bit to do on set-up but straight line speed takes the enamel off your teeth. Did an unofficial sub 12 for the measured quarter.... then ran out of petrol! If you can manage end of next week (pm)or weekend I will make arrangements. About 1 1/2 hour tow from yours. It will cost you just £20 which ain't bad as we get a very generous two hours.

I enjoyed the morning with Murray on Saturday. Nice to hear the K series flat out on the wide open spaces. It really does have a nice exhaust rip - a PROPER car. The R1 is nowhere near its full potential powerwise yet, but is probably all an old fool like me will need when I forget to brake in time for the hairpin at Fintray! More goodies arriving from the States should allow me an extra 2000 rpm without goosing the injectors and melting the turbo. Hope your beast is ready in time for Alford testing and the weekend.

Well done! Sounds pretty sweet. Enjoy Alford today and have her in fine fettle for the weekend. Here's hoping it's dry at Fintray, cos some bu..er has nicked one of my wets on its wheel from my (unlocked) garage. Doh! Can you believe that? ONE wheel! Thieves today have no ambition. Still, it should be interesting trying to get off the line without immediately going sideways - or even backwards.... I've got some old 15" wheels with VERY dodgy rubber at a pinch if needs be.
See you Saturday.
