Simon
Haven't been to a meet before but I would like to tag along if that's OK.
Are there any circumstances in which they are cancelled eg bad weather
Hi Andrew,
You will be more than welcome to join us, we have a couple of Porsche guys, one with a flat nose porsche.
And no the meets are never cancelled, one christmas we ended up around Bala in the snow, which was different!!! Weather does not normally effect us hardened Welshmen.
see you at the meet.
simon.
P.S. - Nice wheels btw

Is this still going ahead next week? I think about 4 guys/gals would like to attend from the fccuk forum.
Of course the meet is still on. We meet on the first sunday of every month without fail. In fact I think we have only ever cancelled 2 meets over the past 3 years.
Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.
Ooooooh! Listen to her!
Some of us don't have a bonnet full of JAPANESE wizadry to sort it all out for us when it gets pear shaped.
For we are men. TVR men. Hairy chested alpha males. We like our beer with bits in and our dinner still bleeding. And our BHP's un-neutered, under the sole control of our right foot ONLY. And yes, we are still too soft to go out in the rain.
Anyway you have a roof on yours. And more hair than me....Bas***d.
At least if it is raining you will be able to keep up. Eh, Simon?
Wee man.

Yes your right I do have some jap wizardry under the bonnet of my hard top, yet I too choose to drive round in all weathers with all this traction in the OFF position, just to keep me on my toes as I'm a hardened north wailian. Not the weathers fault that Peter Wheeler decided that the right foot is the traction control and ABS.
When I had the Chimaera (which I miss like crazy ) I remember the meet 2 winters ago, driving in convoy around Bala in the snow and ice of all things, freezing cold, no visability.... and you guys are scared of getting a bit damp.
BTW - Don't you mean you can keep up if it rains, well at least until a corner appears that is

Bump.
Would you care to give us a bit more of a clue rather than just 'bump'
I hope its nothing serious?
As in bump the topic back up to the top for the benefit of another postee.
C'est va?
You could always be the first person to add something into the new topic.
