Hi all,

Just went to have a look at a Taimar which is needed a bit too much work for me but seen a rather interesting 350i 2+2 coupe as well, mid-eighties something, right-hand drive.

What would be the reasonable price for a car like this. Need to inspect in full, but for arguments sake, let's say chassis is rust-free and car drives + all electrics work, but paintwork and interior in poor condition, and needs some general TLC which it hasn't had in a long time. Been in storage for years so might need some new springs and a general checkup as well.

Looking for an honest drivers car, and could see the potential in this, however not sure what's "fair" ...

Grts, Pieter

Well, I can only decide what's fair if I have an idea what it's worth ;-)

Would be priced at 4000 EUR which is around 2900 GBP. Realistically would need some money spent right away on suspension & bushes I guess, has been sitting idle for too long.

Hi Stef,

Yes that's the registration indeed. Looked like it needed a lot of TLC indeed, but not that much work to get it running & roadworthy. Don't mind driving a car that looks a bit wonky if it has a solid base. But obviously you know this car :-)

Ive been after a 2+2 for a long time, where is this advertised ? nothings coming up on searches. any help is greatly appreciated.
It's not advertised ... And I kinda want it for myself provided the chassis doesn't need work in the near future. However if it's not in the condition I'm after, I'll gladly send you the details.
