Took the SEAC out for a blast yesterday.. had a guy comment 'nice car..etc' but he also said he thought the V8 badge on the rear looked very Halfords, and let the car down.
I've never considered this before, the badge was on it when I bought the car...

So, opinions.. Halfords, or non Halfords?

Honesty is what I'm after guys... I'm certainly leaning towards removal now.

Doesn't matter what others think.....
True.. but now I'm aware of it..and it doesn't really match up with the oe badge and decals..

Question is, how to remove? I was thinking hairdryer to loosen the sticky pad, and used some cotton or string to slice behind it. Then I guess it's just rub and pick the sticky bits off?

No idea tbh.. but as badges go, it's pretty decent quality..not a £3 eBay job. Gotta go though. smile

That style of V8 badge is a Rover logo. As on P6's and SD1's.

For example

Before attempting removal you may want to check it's not secured through the fiberglass with a bolt, or else you might be left with a couple of holes. Take a look behind the boot lining.
Good point.. I hope not

Get one from a V8S... far more authentic....

True.. but I think I'll just go sans V8 badge altogether.. the sound is all that's needed wink
