280i PAS pipe sourcing (or alternatives)

Hello all

The metal PAS pipe on my 1983 280i is corroded beyond repair. Sad.

From what I understand, the rack is from a cortina Mk 4/5 - but i'm having two issues:
- I'm not sure if there was any custom work done on the rack
- I'm struggling to find a place that has even any stock parts for this rack.

Anyone have any idea where I could source them/any spare bits lying around?

IF I can't sort this out - what are the best alternatives that I can swap to relatively cost effectively?

Got in touch with both but no joy unfortunately.

Might just pull the whole thing out tbh, the pumps been a pain in the ass and i'm really struggling to find the parts.

Any conversion options?

Lovely, thanks for the advice all - managed to find a brakes and hydraulics shop that did it for just 40 bob! Excellent advice
