throttle / plenum heater

can i just disconnect the throttle heater ?
i presume there is just one pipe in and one out with no gallery inside to anywhere else
i'm asking as i'm too lazy to take the plenum off to have a look
nice to meet some of you at bbwf
my head was banging from too much gin this morning

while i'm pulling bits off around there does anyone know the intermotor part numbers for the coolant temp sensor and thermotime switch ?

ok have we got lucas part nos ? exactly same as sd1
slightly different private road with a really long downhill bit - near ross
