Would prefer one location for both. If I was splitting it then I'd go with APS for the wheels. Heard variable reports on Renowheel.

I don't want the wheels stripped to bare metal and I don't want them powder coated. Just painted please smile

ALS sounds like a good option but am I right in thinking that they are now booking for September 2012?

I'll pop into Motorvation when I get a chance and take it from there.

Davies Motor Company used to do Aston. Has this changed?

Just checked with the main dealer and it's still currently Davies Motor Company.

If it was just paintwork then I'd be happy using Sean as I have for quite a few years. Just don't think wheel refurbs are his forte!

I'm going to take it in to Motorvation Monday for a quote. Depending on how that goes I'll give your guy a call. Does he do wheel refurbishment in house? My wheels aren't badly marked.

Know where you're coming from. My experience of them has never been that good. Lots of people use them so maybe it's down to luck?!!

Popped into Motorvation on Monday for a quote. Have to say, it wasn't exactly great value! Called into Davies Motor Company this morning (they have done most my bits and bobs in the past), and was quoted VERY competitively. As well as still being Aston and Bentley approved they are now approved for the Nissan GTR. My only concern was with the wheel refurb (just the front two), but Sean assures me they won't be a problem.

It's booked in for the 9th Jan so I'll report back soon after smile
