Has anyone had contaminated fuel? (Asda Coryton)

Hiya,

Has anyone had experience of contaminated fuel recently?

I have a Peugeot 208 which was running fine- until Thursday night!

I drove to work Thursday morning fine, went to fill up with diesel at Asda Coryton (Cardiff)- all fine, drove about 5 miles and parked for a couple of hours, but when I left to drive home there was no power- on the M4 I couldn't get above 50 mph, (30 mph uphill!), so I had to pull off and wait for help.

The mechanics can't find anything wrong and believe it is likely to have been bad fuel- has anyone else had this recently/ any experience with this? I would like to report it to Asda, but I feel like thy wouldn't take me seriously, and I'm not sure how to find out if anyone else has had similar issues.

I definitely have the receipt- I double checked it to make sure I'd definitely put the right fuel in.. I'll see if they can get a fuel sample.
