Right, the next one!

Helmingham Festival of Classics & Sport – Sunday, 1 August 2004 (nr Stowmarket, Suffolk)

The Pistonheads Roadshow will be there with its *new* stand This event features some highly rare and valuable motors, and one highlight is the chance to blast up the gravel drive showing off your car to the drooling public
The photos are from last year's event; the text is from the entry form. If you'd like to come along, please mail me and I'll send you the booking form!
I'm recommending Option 2 for most of us, but if you want to join the vintage Bentleys and partake in cream teas, that's fine too.

We hope you were able to join us last year for the Festival of Classics & Sportcars, which was a great success attracting over 300 display vehicles representing a wide variety of marques. This year’s event will again be held in conjunction with the Suffolk Vehicle Enthusiasts Club and we are intending to expand the 2004 Festival to include a range of additional attractions. As well as the wonderful display of vehicles, the internationally renowned Helmingham Hall Gardens will be open during the course of the afternoon. Many other attractions will be laid on, including a model aircraft demonstration, a birds of prey display, musical entertainments, children’s amusements, refreshments and trade stands.

This year there are three options for admission:-

Option 1) £17.50 for vehicle plus driver and one passenger, includes:-
· Reserved numbered parking space for your classic car in the exclusive arena directly in front of Helmingham Hall;
· Entry to Helmingham Hall Gardens;
· Tea for vehicle driver and one passenger in the Drivers’ Marquee;
· Free entry for your vehicle into the Helmingham Draw for the best pre-1950, post-1950 and overall Show Winner.
·Provision of a vehicle description sheet and board for display in front of vehicle.

Additional passenger tickets for Option 1: £7.50 each

Option 2) FREE entry for vehicle plus driver and one passenger and;
· Parking in the general Classic Car Park;
· Entry to Helmingham Hall Gardens.
· Entry in the ‘host’s choice’ selection of favourite vehicle.

Additional passenger tickets for Option 2: £5.00 each

Option 3) Admission on the day – open to all, classic car owners and others, at £5 per adult and £3 per child.

Concourse – in past years we have arranged a concourse of interesting cars to drive down the Front Avenue drive so that members of the public can experience at first hand the sights and sounds of these classic vehicles. Weather conditions permitting, we hope to continue with the tradition and if you would like to be included in one of the Concourses during the afternoon, please tick the box on the Application form. NB – the concourse is only open to those pre-registered applicants who choose Option 1 or Option 2.

Commemorative plaque – these are available as a memento of the day, at an additional cost of £2.00 each.

Hi Phil,
You should have received RV and convoy details a few days ago...? For anyone who didn't, and has a pass and would like to come along, we're assembling at Tescos, Stowmarket, at 9.30am this Sunday.
See you there
