Afternoon everyone!

Off the back of recent notifications of LowiePete's Detailing Meet on Saturday 22nd, the AS Motorsport Visit on Sunday 23rd and our Social Summer Meet on Wednesday 26th, I hereby announce our FIRST Roadshow of 2017, the Duxford Spring Car Showbounce

DETAILS:
This year's show is being held on Sunday 30th April.
The show is always enormous, having a wide variety of cars and clubs attending.
Your entry fee also includes general admission to everything IWM Duxford has to offer. Weather depending, there is action to seen in the skies above, too! It really is a fantastic family day out and a wonderful way to kick off the show season thumbup
General details can be found on Duxford's Website HERE.

The Entry Fee this year is £12.60 per adult, £6.30 per child.

MEET:
As in previous years, we will Meet at the McDonald's on the A505/A1301 Junction - MAP LINK HERE

Please could Meet at 9:30am for a 10am departure. It's then a very short convoy to IWM Duxford.
They do request cars be in situ until about 4pm, however it hasn't previously been an issue when members have had to leave earlier. Just exit slowly with your harzard lights flashing smile
That said, Duxford itself is open for its normal opening hours.

This year, I have upped our booking to 18 spaces, so please get your name down to avoid disappointment.

All you need to do now is get your name down on the list below.
Alternatively, you can message me or Post on the Event page of our Facebook Page to let me know you wish to join us.

Thank you to everyone who turned out for our First Show of 2017!

The show was full of interesting, varied machines and huge club displays.
The PistonHeads stand certainly had a superb display and our location in the centre of the site was great, with plenty of room around us.
The weather, while windy, remained dry so plenty of people were out enjoying the show.

The negative was this year's entry, taking us around hour and a half to all be in and parked.
We were all at McDonald's early and set off briskly, but then it was that wait to get in..
Personally, I felt sorry for the marshals having many a stern word and some outright abuse hurled in their direction, but definitely poor planning on Duxford's part.
Previous years have been fine, with a slight wait. The only thing to have changed is the entry fee requiring silly amounts of change, so this must be the main factor.
I have emailed my Duxford contact, so let's see what our next visit brings.

On that note, I would like to return as this has long been a wonderful way to start the Roadshow year.

The entry time aside, all of us seemed to enjoy the show.
My apologies for the wait. I completely understand a couple of you didn't fancy hanging around, so no worries. I hope to see you at another Event soon thumbup

Thank you again to all the PHers who made it out for the day smile
Once uploaded, I shall post my photos here.

See you all again soon!
