PHEA ROADSHOW: Cars On The Green - Sunday 18th June
Discussion
Good evening everyone,
After my recent notification of the Brand New Event, Sheringham Car & Bike Show ( CLICK LINK HERE), I now announce our return to a firm favourite, Cars on the Green & Bury Motor Show.
This year, the show is on Sunday 18th June; that's Father's Day
Details:
The show is an enormous event with Car Clubs and Individuals showing a vast variety of vehicles. Simply put, it's a great day out with something for everyone!
After more details? You can find them on the show's Dedicated Website HERE
Meeting:
Can we please Meet at Sainsbury's Moreton - MAP LINK HERE
We'll meet at 8:30am for 9am depature. We'll then drive the few short minutes to the venue.
Considering last year's lengthy wait to get in, I thought we should meet a tad earlier!
You'll need a pass to get in, which I will hand out here.
Entry:
Entry costs £2 per car.
I have already paid the entry for us, so simply please pay me at the meeting point in exchange for your pass
This year has a restriction of vehicular movement from 10am until 4pm, so you'll have to please remain in place until then.
I have booked us 18 spaces, so please sign up soon!
The organisers have requested Make, Model and Registration information for each attendee. If you don't want your car's reg published on here, simply PM me
All you need to do now is add yourself to the list below.
Should you prefer, you can Message Me to let me know you'd like to join us, or Post on the Event Page of the PHEA Facebook Page HERE

Thank you for the kind offer daveenty
Unless we are side by side, it would mean a couple of non-Mercs on your stand. Last year space was only just enough for each group.
This year they have assigned passes to specific cars/registrations, so there would also be a need to inform the organiser :-)
All the best,
Darren

I am unable to email you through your profile, to tell you that I now have a space free for you to attend CotG with us
Please could you respond on here as soon as possible to confirm you'd still like to attend with us, and to inform me of your car's registration so I can update the organisers. Thank you

Hi Darren
As your reserve list is getting short thought I might put my name down as I'm local I can jump in on Sunday if needed.

Whereabouts was the Pistonheads stand? I walked around for 2 hours and didn't find it?
We were in the very, very sunny bit! As said, over the bridge, on the left beyond the large number of MX5 owners. Sorry to have missed you.

I popped onto your stand just to introduce myself but you guys must have been on walkabout or lunching. i was with the Mercedes forum a bit further down from you lot.
Sorry to have missed you, but thank you for popping over. A few of us were perched in the shade at either the top or bottom of the hill, or just going for wander. I feel your pain re: air con - my ran out of gas a few days before!Looking at your car in your profile, it seems I was chatting with a PHer next to the Mercedes stand as you left. Had I only known, I would have said "Hello"
Hopefully see you guys next time
Darren
I'd like to offer my immense thanks to everyone who made it along to Cars on the Green.
It certainly was a hot one, with our stand being in what seemed one of the sunniest spots at Nowton Park! I can't complain the weather was glorious, even if I was melty mess and the car oven-like by the end of the day! It made for a fantastic show-wide turnout, for sure!
We had another great display of varied machinery, showing the public what PH is all about.
There was so much to see across the show, even if I was late in going for a walk and I seemingly missed loads!
I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with PHEA regulars and meeting a couple of new members. Apologies if I didn't get to chat with you much, something I can hopefully remedy in the near future.
Thank you to all those PHers, who were attending with other clubs or as the paying public, for dropping by to say hello
Finally, I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to many of you.
Once I've uploaded my snaps from the day, I'll post the link here.
Next up is the Summer RunTHIS Sunday 25th June.
See you again soon.
