PHEA RUN: Summer Run - Sunday 25th June

Good afternoon everyone.

Following my notification of June's PHEA SSM, I now announce the Next 2017 Event, our annual PHEA Summer Run

Again heading for Hunstanton, this year's Summer Run will take place on Sunday 25th June

Meeting Details
We will meet at the firm favourite, Sainsbury's in Thetford - MAP LINK HERE
Can we please meet at 10am for 10:30am departure.

Lunch
Our Lunch Stop takes us to The Pigs at Edgefield, near Holt in Norfolk.

I have booked for 20 people.
We should arrive by 12:30pm for 1pm sit down.
Should you wish to join us for just lunch, please do! Of course please do let me know so I which of us are continuing the journey

After lunch, we will then continue to our final destination of Old Hunstanton cliff top car park where you are free to roam the delights of this lovely coastal town.
We should arrive around 4:30pm.

All route maps and instructions will be handed out on the day.

I have increased our numbers for lunch, but I am sorry to say that I cannot accept anymore dinner spots without getting in to pre orders.
You are still of course welcome to come along for the drive, and please do! However I am sorry I cannot guarantee you a space for food at lunch time.

I'd like to offer a HUGE 'Thank You' to everyone who made it out for our annual Summer Run.

Decent weather in the main, save for a short shower during the Run and that heavy rain at the end certainly helped the day's enjoyment.
It was a shame we were caught in a bit of traffic in places, but mainly clear roads made for some fun up front

I hope you all enjoyed the route. I know a couple of places were a little narrow and others a tad bumpy (amen to Norfolk roads!), but I the plan was to have a good mix to keep us all entertained. Hopefully this was achieved!

Lunch was lovely, and a great service seemingly received by all.

There was a great mix of the usual suspects and a good few PHEA newbies - welcome!

As ever, feedback in any form is most welcome to help improve future Runs

Once I've uploaded my snaps from the day, I'll post a link on this Thread.

Next up in the 2017 Calendar is our return Kimbolton Castle Car Show & Countryfare , which is on the 9th July. Watch this space as details will be posted VERY soon.
This followed by our PHEA Track Event ( DETAILS HERE)and the next SSM on the 10th July
