PHEA RUN: Winter Norfolk Run - Sunday 4th February

Hello everyone,

This is a little later than I had planned, but I can now post details of the FIRST Event of 2018!

Our Winter Norfolk Run returns this year, it being held on Sunday 4th February.
The day will be from 10am until ~4:30pm during which time we shall tackle some lovely roads and stop for a tasty lunch!

MEET:
The Entrance to Snetterton Circuit, just off the A11 - MAP LINK HERE
10am meet, 10:30am departure.

LUNCH:
I have booked us in at The Pigs, Edgefield for 12:30pm arrival - MAP LINK

We plan to arrive around 12:30pm and depart at approximately 2:30pm.
ETA: We are now FULL for Lunch. You can add yourself to the Lunch Reserve List and of course will be more than welcome to join us for the am and pm drives

END:
Quayside car park at Wells-next-the-Sea, arriving around 4:30pm.

Short of heavy snow, the Run will go ahead
Can't make the whole day? No problem! You can join us part of the Run or even just Lunch, you are most welcome to come along

As usual with our Runs, all route information will be handed out on the day.

All you need to do now is let us know that you would like to come along: Simply add your name to the list below.
Please tells us from where you will be starting the Run and how many spaces you would like for Lunch (#). Thank you

First, I must thank you all for the massive response to this Run; it's been fantastic, and very fast! I am so pleased you all wish to join us for our first Run of the year

However, an issue has arisen with numbers for Lunch. The pub is unable to take no more than 34 places, and so I am sorry to inform you that I must have a Lunch Reserve List.

At the present time, this will be on a first come, first served basis, ordered by the time at which you signed up to the Run.

Should anybody wish to amend their lunch numbers, please do so in the bracketed numbers next your name on the list below, or please contact me.

My further apologies.
The original three-headed list includes people who emailed me privately and signed up on the Facebook page, as well as posting on here, so I've tried to add people based on their earliest time coded notifications from all three sources

The main, larger Snetterton meet point list is now being updated with people having a "(0)" to denote no lunch spaces.

If you have a specific query or concern, please don't hesitate to message me so I can address these. Once again, my apologies for oversight.

Afternoon everyone,

Apologies for the huge delay in posting, but I would like to thank each and every one of you who made it along to our first Run of 2018

Arriving 10 minutes early to Snetterton, I was open-jawed with how many cars I could see already lined up, eager to go!
It was a joy to see so many new faces joining us regulars for a car run in the winter, especially when you consider the weather - we definitely experienced all four seasons that day!

Both halves were great fun, with surprisingly little traffic over the entire route.
A rather enjoyed having a Clio filling my rear view mirror in the morning.....I didn't realise it had a turbo until I heard that familiar waste gate "whoosh" .
Then to have the mega torque 335d behind after lunch was delightful!

Apologies once again for my oversight when booking lunch. Going forward, I'll ensure our restricted lunch numbers are known at the time of posting.

I am very sorry to hear about Tommybouy and Trumpie, however I am extremely pleased that both of you are now fine and well. It's a bit of cliché, but vehicles can be replaced, lives cannot! I hope to see you both again soon

As with every Event, we welcome any and all feedback; it can only help improve the experience for the future
