PHEA Roadshow: Cars on the Green - Sunday 17th June

Afternoon everyone,

Here's my second post of the day, and it' time for another PHEA Roadshow notification.
We're heading back to Cars on the Green, which this year is on Sunday 17th June; that's Father's Day

Details:
The show is a huge event with Car Clubs and Individuals showing a wide variety of vehicles. Simply put, it's a great day out with something for everyone!

Meeting:
Can we please Meet at Sainsbury's Moreton - MAP LINK HERE
We'll meet at 8:15am for 8:45am depature. We'll then drive the few short minutes to the venue.
We had a bit of wait last year, so I thought we should meet a tad earlier

You'll need a pass to get in, which I will hand out here.

Entry:
Entry costs £2 per car.
I have already paid the entry for us, so simply please pay me at the meeting point in exchange for your pass

This year has a restriction of vehicular movement from 10am until 4pm, so you'll have to please remain in place until then.

I have booked us 20 spaces.

The organisers have requested Make, Model and Registration information for each attendee. If you don't want your car's reg published on here, simply PM me

If a spot frees up, I'll let you know. Each pass is specific to each entrant, but I can't see a last minute alteration being a huge problem

I'll be there, though in the MB Club area. I'll try to stroll over for a chat if I get a chance, as I did last year, though you've usually all wandered off when I get there. This will be my fourth year and I'm just hoping that it will be a little cooler this time...

I had every intention of going down in the little 190E Cosworth this year but as I'm getting a bit close to my mileage allowance (classic policy) and have only just put it back on the road after a couple of minor issues, I don't really want to risk it on a c500 mile round trip, so will be in my E Class instead.

For obvious reasons, I often spend some time over on that stand
In fact, I'm sure I was present for an E63 departure last year

To help with identification, I'll be the large ginger chap, most likely with a camera around my neck, possibly standing by the blue RS4

What another great Roadshow!

Excellent weather (aside from the slight, very light shower at the meeting point), the usual superb varied PH display and wonderful company made for a thoroughly enjoyable day.
I think it paid off meeting that little bit earlier, as entry was so quick. Thank you once more to everyone for your patience when I was organising the stand.
I thought this year's stand location was very good, too.
There was still plenty of lovely machinery to see when I looked round toward the end of the day

A massive thank you to everyone who turned out to support us. Usually faces were joined by a couple of news one - welcome
I really enjoyed chatting with everyone throughout the day.
I must also thank all of those PHers who popped by the stand simply to say hello. Even if we didn't chat long, it's wonderful to see you

As ever once I've uploaded my snaps, I'll post a link here.

Once again, thank you everyone. We'll certainly be back next year
