Good morning everyone!

I am pleased announce another regular Event returns for 2019; the Rolling Road Day, will take place on Saturday 13th April.

MEET
We'll be meeting at the venue of our wonderful host, CAT Automotive in Norwich, on the Saturday 13th April where we'll be running from 8:30am until late afternoon.
CAT Automotive Location MAP HERE

PHer fasteddys has once again been kind enough to organise the day which costs £48 (inc. VAT) for Two Runs. Air/Fuel Ratio is monitored and you will receive a print out of your best run.

CAT Automotive, formerly branded Clive Atthowe Tuning, have a rolling road suitable for FWD, RWD and 4WD cars, but I'm sorry to say bikes cannot run.
Automatic transmissioned cars have run in previous years, but occasionally these can be a little troublesome to gain accurate results.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, or if you have specific queries about your car running, please contact CAT Automotive on 01603 702400.

Once you've committed to the list, you arrive and sign on/pay on the day and you'll then be given a number in line. I'm sorry, but you won't be able to pre book a time.
In the past we've had the occasional person who needs to get away at a certain time. This has been accommodated with agreement with everyone else. It's worked fine in previous years, so I am sure if you are in such a position, we can arrange something smile

To help speed up sign on, you can fill in CAT Automotive's online disclaimer form in advance rather than on the day. You can FIND IT HERE

I am also pleased to announce that fasteddys and Rebecca will again be offering hot and cold snacks and drinks (all for reasonable prices wink ).

Before and after your runs feel free to hang around, have a chat and spectate your fellow members' car's runs.

So all you need to do now is get your name down on the list here.

Would love to come along to this. Thoroughly enjoyed the last one. But I am working in Ipswich in the morning, I know we cannot specify a time but is there any way I can be one of the last?
While I wouldn't be a problem to ensure you go last once you arrive, I would ask what sort of time you would expect to reach us.
We have been known to finish earlier if everyone who is present and has paid has run their car smile

i am interested in attending this (did a few years ago but didn't go on the dyno) can they strap down a VX220 ok and if so how (front through the wheels i assume not sure about rear)
Hi Ash,

I am sure a VX220 won't be a problem for them, but I would recommend giving CAT Automotive a call on on 01603 702400. They should be able to answer your concerns smile

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold - and at times wintry - weather to join us for another successful Rolling Road Day thumbup

16 cars took the rollers to see how much power and torque they were producing.
Plenty of you stayed around to spectate, with even a couple of extra folk dropping by simply to watch the action.
It was pleasure to meet a couple of new members and catch up the regular faces smile

My highlight was sitting in the back of the mad diesel Merc to weigh down the rear: An old E-Class with over 400bhp and 500ft lb torque was a wonder to watch!

I was happy with the Audi's 386bhp peak on it's first Run so it hasn't lost too many horses since it's last day on the dyno biggrin

Thank you to Clive Atthowe for hosting us thumbup
Thank you also to Eddy, Rebecca and Scott for keeping us fed and watered.

Once uploaded, I'll link my to snaps here.

I hope to see you all again soon!
