Hello everyone.

EDIT: Meeting Time now 30 minutes earlier at 9:30am.

With our Cars & Coffee & Heveningham Visit PHEA Double Day happening THIS Sunday, I am excited to announce another Event the following weekend; this year's PHEA Summer Rundriving

On Sunday 30th June we will be heading for Hunstanton on the North West Norfolk coast biggrin

Meeting Details
We will meet at the Roughman Hill Lorry Park, just off the A14 in Bury St Edmunds - MAP LINK HERE
Can we please meet at 9:30am for 10am departure.

Lunch
Our lunch host is The Pigs in Edgefield, near Holt in Norfolk - PUB LOCATION HERE.
For more information on the pub and their Menu, please CLICK on their Website HERE.

I have booked for 30 people.
We should arrive by 12:30pm for 1pm sit down.
Should you wish to join us for just lunch, you are more than welcome to do so! Please let me know if you are just lunching so I know which of us will be continuing the journey thumbup

After lunch, we will then continue to our final destination of Old Hunstanton cliff top car park where you are free to roam the delights of this lovely coastal town.
We should arrive around 4:30pm.

All route maps and instructions will be handed out on the day.
There is a BP petrol station close the meet point and petrol station options in Holt, not far from the lunch stop.
Both AM and PM Legs will be around 60-70 miles.

Fancy coming to give you Pride'n'Joy a Run with fellow PHers? All you need to do now is add your name to this list here.

Alternatively please Message Me or Post on the Event Page of our PistonHeads East Anglia Facebook Page HERE

All PHers are welcome to join us, no matter how long you've been a member, nor what you drive (or ride!).
If you can only make part of the day, no problem! Simply let me know where you'll be meeting & departing our Run smile

Finally, please indicate how many spaces for lunch you'd like to reserve '(#)'. Thank you.

Good morning everyone,

I would just like to remind you all our Summer Run is happening THIS Sundaydriving
It's not too late to sign up, so please let me know if you'd like to join us. Please include from where you will be joining us (Bury or the Lunch Stop) and how many places you'd like for lunch. Thank you.

***IMPORTANT: Meet Time CHANGE - now 9:30am***
I have been informed of a cycle race across Norfolk happening the same day, the organisers running a rolling road block system. While this has a minimal impact on our planned route, to allow us a very comfortable time buffer for crossing their route, I have slightly altered our meet time, this being 30 minutes earlier than previously stated.

Therefore our NEW MEET TIME is 9:30am, with a 10am departure.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, but it will mean we will be long gone before the cyclists close the roads thumbup

See you on Sunday smile

Darren

Hope the 2 wheel spandex clad road ants didn't spoil things.
We timed things so we were clear of the route long before the big race came through smile
We encountered a smaller race, but all was well thumbup

Thank you to everyone who turned out for a fantastic day!

Despite the glorious weather, the roads were clearer than expected. A couple of sections I know people became lost, but we made to the pub and then to Hunstanton without issue. I'm pleased to say during the Run my little ol' Audi clocked by 99,000 miles, too! nerd

It was a pleasure to catch up with the Run regulars and meet some new faces too! Welcome! wavey

Tasty food - and a full booking compliment - for lunch, excellent company, lovely varied machines and enjoyable roads (save the odd tight and dirty one!) made for a great day out!

As ever, feedback and suggestions in any form is always welcome as it can only help improve things for another time thumbup

Once uploaded, I'll post a link to my photos smile

See you all again soon!
