PHEA Run: New Year's Run - Sunday 5th January

Hello everyone,

Let's kick off 2020 with a Brand New Event, a New Year's Run on Sunday 5th January

MEETING DETAILS:
Sainsbury's Thetford: MAP LINK HERE
We will meet at 9:30am for 10am departure

LUNCH:
The Bird in Hand, Wreningham, Norfolk - MAP LINK HERE

12 noon arrival, 12:30pm sit down.

I have booked 20 places, so please be quick to avoid disappointment

As we have a larger booking, the pub has requested a pre-order for our food.
The Menu is on their WEBSITE HERE

Please take a look and tell me what you'd like by Monday 30th December - That's ONE WEEK TODAY, at the time of email. Thank you

AFTERNOON LEG:
Once Lunch is over, we carry on our drive, ending on the East Norfolk Coast at between 4 and 4:30pm.


As usual with our Runs any and all are welcome to join us no matter what you drive, two wheels or four.

All route information will be handed out on the day.

Unless is we have snow, the Run will go ahead

All you need to do now is add your name to the list below.
Should you prefer, you can sign up by emailing me directly or Posting to the Event on the PHEA Facebook Page HERE.

Please remember to tell us which car you'll be in and how many spaces for Lunch you'd like.
Also please remember your food order for the pub by Monday 30th December. Thank you.

Afternoon all!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far.
Already slightly late, today is the day I MUST send off our food order to the pub so if you haven't told me what you'd like, PLEASE send it to me as soon as you can. Thank you.
After today, I cannot accept any more food orders.

Of course, you can still sign up for the Run and join us for all, or indeed just part, of the drive

I've now sent our food order off to the pub. If I do have your order now, I'm sorry to say you may not be able to have lunch with us. I have been informed the pub is often busy on a Sunday, so no guarantee can be made. You are welcome to chance it on the day, though.
For those not having lunch, I have been told there is plenty of space in bar to relax until we set off for the afternoon section

If you're not signed up for lunch, you are still welcome to join us for the drive

Thank you to everyone who made it along for our first New Year's Run. It proved a great way to kick off the year, and the weather was even kind to us!

The 2 floods notwithstanding, the road were pretty good with only a bit of traffic here and there to slow us up
There was only one major confusion over the route, too!
Lunch was enjoyable with swift service meaning we could end in the Run in the daylight (just!).

Any and all feedback is welcome, as it can only help improve the experience for everyone in the future.
