***RUN CANCELLED***

Hello everyone,

I know it is only a day since I specifically mentioned in my Calendar thread that the Cromer Spring Run was going aheard as planned, however advice has already changed. Also, I have head the council have closed the end point car park, too.

As such, I the Cromer Spring Run is Cancelled.
Sorry to disappoint you all, but we shall all get together when we're through these insane, awful times.

Everyone please stay safe and take care.

All the very best,
Darren

Thank you to everyone signing up so far.

***COVID-19 Run RETHINK: Please Read***

In light of the current health situation and ever-changing government recommendations, I have decided to amend our Cromer Spring Run.
At the current time, the Run will go ahead, but please be aware this may change at VERY short notice

The very nature of our Runs means we are in our own cars for the vast majority of the time so will mean we are well within our social distance responsibilities and a can still enjoy a driving day as safely as possible.
Please have a read of all the detail changes below.
However, in brief:
  • No change to Meet Time and Location, and the End Point.
  • Pub Lunch will NOT be happening. Instead an approximate 20-30 minute fuel Stop will happen. The total Run with last about 3 hours, so we'll be done by early afternoon. If you wish to eat, please consider bringing a lunch with you.
  • Please let's be aware of our social distancing and hygiene responsibilities, to include ways of disinfection while out and about. Perhaps also consider contactless payments for fuel, etc.
  • Route Maps and Instructions will be available via email, so please let me know to where I can send your copy.
This is very much a trial to see if a Run in our current Covid-19 crisis is still possible. I reiterate these plans are subject to change at short notice.

On a side note, please also remember the clocks change in the early hours of Sunday morning thumbup

Anyway...please read my amended original post. Thank you smile
