I travel from Romford each morning using the A127 eastbound to join the M25 clockwise. Anybody who knows this will also know what a nightmare it can be at the top of the exit slip road where you try to join the roundabout in order to turn right onto the clockwise M25.

I always use the right hand land at the top of the exit slip (as I'm turning right) remaining in this (inside) lane at the first set of lights. And then after these I move into the middle lane for the next set of lights and onto the M25 clockwise.

But almost every day I find that I have to battle with people who stay in the left hand lane at the top of the exit slip (even though they are turning right!) and then either try to cut into the inside lane at the first set of lights or stay in the middle lane here and then stay in this lane which then does become the correct lane but thus blocking people who I consider have treated the road correctly.

Question - is it me or are these people just impatient and using the 'wrong' lanes?

I also think that there should be a yellow box there as often the traffic tales back from the first set of lights (especially if there is a jam on the A127) and usually people don't bother to leave a gap for those of us trying to turn right onto the M25. Do I raise this with Highways England?

And now they appear to have reduced the time the lights are green just before you join the M25!!

Result - the queue at these lights now stretch back to beyond the entry slip for the A127 and so vehicles are being forced to use either left hand lane (which should only be used for vehicles going in the Highways England works area) or the right hand lane (A127) to join the entry slip for the M25 clockwise when it should only be the middle lane only.

Nightmare.
