Three Mile Cross woes

Hi - anyone know why the traffic is so bad at the moment travelling through Three Mile Cross? I travel up from the A33 to join the M4 but the traffic is horrendous early morning. If this is a what it's like during the school holidays, it's going to be terrible when the schools go back.
