Obviously we're all on here due to our common interest in nice motorised things, but what do you do to earn the money to buy them?

Mine is exceptionally uninteresting, in that I manage reseller channels for software companies, but it does mean I get to visit lots of nice places! smile How about everyone else?

I manage reseller channels for software companies,
Hold on a sec... I'm a software company (hosted) want to email me about how you can increase revenue for www.wizemail.co.uk ?
My expertise is more running reseller channels across Europe for Enterprise software companies, and looking at your site I guess you're generally focused on selling direct in the UK? Either way, if you're thinking of trying to sell through channels, I'd be happy to give you some pointers.

Chris may I ask which software house.
It's just my job now is as an evangelist, going out and educating our channel partners (god love em). Makes a change from doing new business wink
I'm actually in the process of moving on, so I'm in the interview process with 4 at the moment! biggrin I'll let you know once I've accepted something. It will be a similar role though - just not as far behind the going rate as my current one! :

You know that cliché about them being the best days of your life? Well it won't be many years into your adult life before you realise that they were pretty bloody good! Enjoy them while you can. smile

I design and install bespoke high end home cinemas as well as whole house automation / audio / video distribution systems. Its always been a hobby so i love it smile
Never one to miss out on an opportunity, do you install "home networks" ? (I dont mean just IT, but a hub that distributes multiple TV/Sat/DAB/ADSL). Its something we're looking at developing to compliment our existing range and would welcome some views from someone who installs our rival's products.

Or perhaps you'd be interested in a modular media distribution system?

If you want to install one so I can guinea pig it for you and tell you what I think, you're more than welcome! biggrin

Why would you want to do that? There has got to be a kinder way to make a living.

What goes around comes around.
Its tradition and they are rife and a nuisance to the natural wildlife much like yours truly but I find it difficult hunting myself as my brain hurts.
Plus they're usually shot with rifles and die pretty quickly. I would assume also that they are then eaten, so it's not merely killing for fun!
