It's the club this coming Tuesday so, 3M in Baggie at 8pm or anywhere else if you've a suggestion, there's always the Windmill on the A30 for somewhere (dare I say it) a little more up market!

Someone suggested at the Christmas meal that I add a bit about what the meetings are about, so:

The meet ups are for anyone who:

-Has an inkling of an idea that they'd like to turn into a part time money generator or a fully fledged business to set them free from being employed.
-Wants to do something to get a business off the ground on a part time, occasional basis and grow it over months/years, giving extra cash initially and then.. - or - wants to launch into a massive campaign to start something that will give them financial freedom quickly.
-Is already an entrepreneur but wants some help with new ideas, marketing, HR, finance, contacts overseas etc. etc.

Generally, if we've had 15 or 5 attend there's always been someone who has said/offered something to answer a question, that's proved really useful to them.

To get an idea of where's best to meet - the 3M will take about 6 max in it's more secluded bit, could you let me know if you'll be able to make it along.

I know Don will be there so:

Sure:

- Come into Bagshot on the A30 and at the BP garage in the middle of Bagshot (ish) turn down alongside it (Bridge Road)
- Park anywhere on that short road or if there's no parking there, by the white house next to the post box or on the road that runs alongside the pub
- The pub is halfway down Bridge Road, you can't miss it
- We usually sit by the fire if no one has taken 'our seats', it's very cosy smile

We need to keep an eye on the weather. The forecast is saying that we should expect heavy snow arond 9 o'clock tonight. If that happens, then we should consider postponing to another day.

I'm sat next to a man in Oxfordshire who's in touch with people who are watching the weather radar at some weather station, apparently: it'll start to snow here this afternoon with heavy snow reaching Hertfordshire and the rest of the country by mid day tomorrow. Sounds like it's a bit of a risk then, how would everyone be fixed for a meeting a week today, same time and place?

Just a reminder that its this Wednesday. A couple of people said to me that they'd like to come, start a business etc but that they didn't have a money making idea to start working on, well, at every meet there have been people who've had ideas they've no intention on exploiting but could be ideal for someone who wants an entrepreneurial start.

It's not looking good, I guess unless there's a miraculous moving of the clouds followed by glorious snow melting sunshine all afternoon then it'd be wise to call it off. I'll perhaps leave it until mid afternoon then post here, thanks for the prompt, I've been preoccupied with explaining to work why I genuinely can't make it to even my local office this morning smile

The A30 seems OK and presumably the A329/322 are OK, Bridge Road is fairly sludgy (leads to the pub) bur cars are moving on it, maybe see what happens later? I'm not sure what the forecast is saying.

8pm but I'll be there a little beforehand, if you can't find parking just park at the front of the white office building next to the post box on Bridge Road (can't miss it, the road is only about 150 metres long).

Absolutely, tucked up by the fire in the 3M at 8pm. So whether we have 2 or 10 there'll be people to talk business there are it would be good to have you along smile
