Sunday, Bloody Sunday !

The sun was out, I'll polish the wedge I thought. So it was, I set about lovingly washing the blue bullet and then spending a further 2 1/2 hours waxing my baby until it shone like the northern star. So pleased I was with the finished article that I thought it deserved a run out in the fading afternoons sun. On my return, I carefully backed the gurgling machine into its garage and switched off the engine. One last admiring glance and I proceeded to pull the garage door down. The fading memory of the V8 sound was abruptly replaced by a scrape, pause, bang and scrape. The garage door was reopened to the sight of a smashed work lamp resting on the floor and a brand new 14" scratch down the bonnet. Nice.

I've just dragged myself to the computer after spending an hour in the corner weeping and my girlfriend telling me "its not the end of the world" - If only they understood............
