Craig at Dyno Torque rebuilt the engine that now delivers over 400 horses at the wheels and sounds trully amazing. Craig can't wait till it is run in but thank you so much mate.

Here's a look at the engine!

The induction system has since been changed but again very pleased with results.

Thanks to everyone for your comments

The cage is mounted directly to the chassis as it is one of the older designs more function and not looks.

The engine covers was something I had considered doing at some time in the future but I have other things that need money spent on! As I cry uncontrollably into my coffee at the cost of building this car!

Sadly Craig & Dyno Torque didn’t build my first engine and I can’t speak the name of the tts who first built my engines as I wish to forget the whole sorry business. But Craig is a legend and a am delighted to say I have a Dyon Torque Engine under the bonnet. Which as been completely rebuilt and is running a 382 stroker kit with forged piston and crank and a new LS3 Cam.

Great project smile

For reference for everyone, 382ci in European money means 6257 cc (so LS3 than LS1 capacity wise).
Thanks Richard

Its originally a 5.7 ls1 block which is now a 6.3

Great news on getting teh Griff back and working Angus. Was gutted to hear you've got to go back in but hopefully this is after the Growl so you can drive the car there and have a full weekend prior to the op.

Paul can't wait mate

I have cancelled everything but Chatsworth and a full weekend at the Growl. The Griff sounds and drives great and it would be great to spend time in the bar with all the regular offenders.

having to have yet another operation and its another major long one with the same recovery time. Still hoping this will be the last time as no more tumour found which is great news. Hoping that maybe fit enough for another WWM christmas party even if they have to keep me in a wheelchair.

I'm chuffed you got it sorted Angus clap Told you Craig [dyno torque] was the boy, NO bullst just good honest work. As for health, well goes without saying fingers crossed mate and I can only admire your attitude as I think I would've caved in by now. Look forward to seeing you at Chatsworth or the Growl thumbup
PS; I'm soooo jealous of that car bow
Mac can't thank you enough for the heads up reference Craig he is a first class block who is well respected her and in the US. Dealing with him was great and we had no major problem with getting all the part cheaply and quickly from the US.

When I drove the car last week the engine sounded sweet and it started on the button every time no smoke and oil issues a proper job.

Get well enough for Cornwall we will do anything to get you down there matey...no pressure just want quality company...it's in caravans...see the wwmtvrcc forum..or we can talk...in fact that is long overdue..
Steve sadly I think that about the time I will have just had the operation or will have justed started recovery. If my last recovery is anything to go by I was as sick as a dog for 4 months and venturing out was very difficult. Chatsworth set me back by weeks and doctors were very pissed off with me but it was brilliant and would have missed it for the world. Had a couple of moments at Tag and Martin Pett who is a complete legend had to look after me and he did a brilliant job. Still they may operation much sooner at this stage just don't know and trully hope things happen quickly. I will keep you all posted as and when things happen.
