12 yrs and 9 TVR's........................
Discussion
Watched the Chim drive away thisafto with it's new owner & for the 1st time in 12 years I have no imediate plans to get another...... It's bin an absolute blast I can tell you. These cars are just a fantastic unique adrenalin rush that no other car can replicate for me.
Here's a pic of each one in order of appearance........
350i My introduction to TVR's. Met some great like minded nutters & did some truly memorable runs out around mid Wales...
400SE The one I should have kept. Big valve heads & 250 hp. Fettled by Mark Adams & Tim Lamont.
Probably the most memorable 1st drive home ever. Beautifull sunny day blasting up the Wye Valley & across the Heads of the Valleys rd...
350i with a J.E. Engineering 4.5 motor. Old thumper. 315 ft lbs of torques... great fun.
Griffith 500. The other one I should have kept... Speaks for itself really....
Chimaera 430. The rev monster. Used to eat most things on track like the Griffith...
450SE, One of only 35 ever created. Peach.
Bought the Chim 430 back.... then....
Wedge 420SE. One of only 6 created. This one has the most peachy 4.4 J.E.Engineering motor ever. Smidge under 300hp @ 6500 rpm!!!! Feckin nutter of a car.
Chimaera 400. Stunning condition. Ended up with the CANEMS ignition system fitted by www.lloydspecialistdevelopments.co.uk
Had 3 months with a VX220 Turbo which was hysterical but did my back in....
Then finally my Chimaera 450. Which was treated to an engine rebuild last year by J.E.Developments...
I've had an absolute blast boys. Will remember every beat of every moment. Met some great people. Attended some awesome events.
Will be hanging around here of course but my 406 bhp Merc will be my chariot for the forseeable...
