Struggling for real life reviews of these tyres, looking for an upgrade from R1R's..... I think mine have gone off, was suprised to see date code is 09, Yikes, bought them in 11.

i know they haven't been out long but was hoping a few TVRs were wearing them by now.

Cheers.

Thanks chaps, as Willfin says R888R's are suppose to be worse than R888's in the damp or wet. E rated.

Maybe I'm just expecting too much from my R1R's. All 3 tyres share the same GG compound.

Be good to hear from more peoples experience of R888R's, loads of info and reviews of R888's which have been replaced with the R888R.

Original R888's seemed to be the ultimate tyre on TVRs, ok for road just avoid standing water yikes

But with the limited reviews of R888R's this might not be the case anymore.
