I seem to recall reading that the driving was done mostly by a guy from the factory.

And they managed to badly damage one of the "good" Tuscans in filming instead of the "sacrificial" one that was supposed to get smashed up.
Or was it that they drilled and filled the good one with explosive caps to simulate bullet strikes when they were supposed to use the other car for that?

Either way, it would have been great for generating TVR sales in the US if only the cars met the emissions standards.
