There are various threads on merits and problems over the last few years on AP/Helix/other options but I was alarmed to see this comment on the latest thread on a Cerbera page:

Just to add some more info (and a question) to this :

My clutch is currently being changed and TVR Parts have no AP Racing plates available and apparently no more are due to be manufactured by AP. They are owned by Brembo and the Italian HQ have removed the tooling from AP (according to TVR Parts).

Only Helix available from TVR Parts - unless anyone knows of a current stockist?
If this is true, there looks to be a major supply problem hitting all us owners of Cerbs/T-Cars for the future months and potentially years.

Suggest we have a central sticky in the General forum to keep everyone up to date on the issue and the options open to us plus ongoing experience with the Helix and others.

Can anyone with more inside track establish the facts on the AP clutch ?

We may be suprised and it's less than 100 sold a year.
That wouldn't surprise me.

Time to round up all the knackered ones sitting in folks garages to create an exchange pool for CG ?

Good news, thanks Dom. Hopefully my 58,000 miler will last another 3 months !

What effect vs prior pricing ?

I believe there are variable specs on the AP (per Pete at Elmwood), seem to remember him saying something about a "red" version ? Is that what you've ordered ?
