At the risk of getting laughed off the internet, what is the chances that a TVR could be pressed into more or less daily driver including a fairly regular 50 mile round trip commute.

specifically S series (probably 3) or early chim?

I used to run a 20 year old morgan as a daily (about 10k miles annually) and found that the more it was used the less issues it threw up - and certainly when the bits that had perished following lack of use it was "robust". but TVR has a whole different reputation for reliablility

Forget the fact it's a TVR, running any car that's nearly 30 years old as a "daily drive"could have issues scratchchin

When i first had my chim (back in 99) it was my company car!! Usef every day and parked at the side of the road !
How times change, company cars these days are likely to be fitted with a 13 amp plug!

progress? possibly not!
