How to fit reverse light switch harness M1400

Can the harness be replaced from withing the cabin, or can it only be done from underneath with the gearbox (or at least one of the exhaust manifolds) removed?

Thanks Steve, it's for a Cerb

Unfortunately the reverse wiring and plug melted while on the rollers

I was hoping it might be possible to attach the replacement to the main loom from above, and then just attach the plug to the switch from underneath

But it seems unlikely that is possible
