SAD PASSING OF NORMAN FARMER (AKA TVR GERALD)

It is with great sadness that I have to inform members of the news that Norman Farmer AKA 'TVR Gerald' passed away last weekend.
His wife Christine wanted me to let the TVR community know, as he was a well known Pistonheads forum member who offered great insight and advice to all who needed it. He famously carried out a full nut and bolt restoration of his 'S' (Gerald) and even manufactured a few parts that were an improvement on the factory parts (not hard!!!) and made them available to members.
I myself contacted Norman when rebuilding my 'S' and found his experience and knowhow invaluable, making my build go an awful lot smoother than it could have been.
Please feel free to leave any stories of your dealings with Norman, as I'm sure a lot of you will miss him and his readiness to share his wealth of knowledge.
