Well its been nearly two weeks now since i crashed the Giallo fly yellow one and the Insurance's Independant inspector when to see it today.

The outcome from his inspection doesnt look to good at the moment but may well change.

He values the 96 N Griffith FSH and 24K miles at 14-15K . well if he puts that in his final report i can say farewell to getting it Fixed.

I dont know where he gets his figures from but as usual They start low.

A slighty unhappy BB

Noodles 4.2 said: Ah, thanks.

So are you hoping for the Banana to be fixed or would you prefer a new one now it has 'history'?

Tony

I want it to be fixed, it was a low speed crash into a fence which did the damage as i bounced along it before going through.
If it had been high speed i would of gone straight through and less damage to the car would have been done.
So mechanically the car is very nearly no different.
But there is a lot of work needed to the body.
I also feel that there arent to many of these cars about and are too easily Righten Off and would like to get it back on the road.

So as i am ready if it comes to a bit of a fight over the worth of my car i have been getting info/prices of some around the age of mine and mileage and have had some e-mails from Phers who have sold recently (thanks) with there prices/mileage etc.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone with any info on cars that are/have recently been sold could send me any info to my email sipow@ukonline.co.uk

My car is a 96 n with 24k so anything around that would be good.

TIA

BB - Have you heard anything more about things yet?
Are they going to repair the car? How much have they offered?

Good luck !

Last spoke to Robin at TVRbodyshop on Friday and he was awaiting for the Go ahead from the Inspector of which i Know the Insurance company have Authorised.
I dont know what amount they are going to offer to repair it but from what Jason told me it would have to be around 13k.
I shall call TVRbodyshop again tomorrow as it has been a week.
I know Jason is away at the moment and Robin might want to discuss the Offer amount with Him before starting.
Shall try to give an update tomorrow but things are looking good as i am sure if it wasnt accepted i would of prehaps heard someting by now, maybe, hhmm
deffiantly gonna call tomorrow know.
