I will be collecting my first TVR in less than 265 hours (roughly ;o)) and I am busy sorting out insurance. The premium is hefty since I have no NCB - been on my wife's policy for a while... you know cheap and convenient! The car is a 98S 4.5 Chim, the poor thing will be parked on a quiet London street ( - if anyone has a spare space in a garage somewhere in North West London please let me know. The three best quotes I have received are:
Admiral: £1370 with £750 excess (blimey!)
Sunninghill £1536 with £500 excess or £1730 with £250 excess. The Sunninghill quotes also come with a full RAC Breakdown Assistance (incl. Roadside, recovery, Onward Travel and European Cover), it also includes 30 days of European use and Track Day cover (£1000 excess)

How does it compares with the other Londoners out there? Which one would you go for?

Thanks

I think I should add that Sunninghill is giving me a 2 year introductory NCB whilst Admiral is giving me 50% NCB if my wife insure her car with them - big deal it's a Smart !!
This would imply that Sunninghill base rate is significantly lower than Admiral's.

Will try A Manning tomorrow - thanks
