"Tragic news" I have just heard the dreadful news that multiple lightweight world champion Carl Smith was killed yesterday afternoon, after his pride and joy TVR T350 came off the Nottingham bypass and crashed into a tree. Carl won three bronze and one silver medal at the world championships, with his four golds coming in 1986 (LM2x), 1991 (LM4-), 1992 (LM4-), and 1994 (LM8+)"
