Hi all

Can anyone assist with a speedo query please.


I swapped out my old speedo for a second hand unit and a new cable....but it still doesn’t work.

I can see the drive wire rotating when I disconnect the speedometer....and I’ve checked the speedo using a drill....appeared to be working in reverse.

Any suggestions as to the cause as both the speedo and cable work independently but not together.

I’d appreciated your advice.

Thank you for the advice.

All sorted...it was a worn angle drive. Speedo is working now....that drive is in a really tight space.....needed to use the force to get the retaining clamp bolt back into position.
