Stag V8 Non. Starter

I have a little car knowledge, my pals Stag will not start we have checked there is a spark at plugs, & fuel supply up to to in line filter prior to entering the carburettors but still refuses start any other things we could check. Any assistance appreciated

Thanks for reply it last running a year ago we have drained off the fuel & replaced it new. I will look at the butterfly valves as suggested

Thanks for replies I used to own a TR6 & noticed the inertia switch unfortunately it was in its correct position however, I have taken note of it being 40 years old & will try & source another one if the existing cannot be checked.
